Jones Day represented Corporación Scribe shareholders in the sale of the controlling interest in Corporación Scribe and Grupo Papelero Scribe, Mexico's largest producer of notebooks and a manufacturer and distributor of bond paper products, to Grupo Bio Pappel, S.A. de C.V., the main shareholder of Bio Pappel, the largest paper manufacturer in Mexico. After the combination of Bio Pappel and Scribe, the companies expect to maximize their opportunities for value creation.
