Jones Day represented a Fortune 500 medical company in internal investigations in Brazil and Argentina involving potential violations of U.S. antibribery laws, including the FCPA. Jones Day also advised client on bolstering anticorruption compliance against the backdrop of an ongoing DOJ investigation of client. Based in part on this work, the government declined to press charges.
