Nationwide hospitality company obtains dismissal of claims in Michigan minimum wage and hour investigation

Client(s) Nationwide hospitality company

Jones Day successfully defended a nationwide hospitality company in a wage and hour investigation by a Michigan state agency into an employee's complaint that the company failed to pay minimum wage. The employee alleged he was due wages under state law. The state investigator disagreed and issued a findings letter that the company did not violate Michigan law in paying wages to the employee.
