International professional services firm defends against ERISA claim brought by its former partner

Jones Day defended an international professional services firm against a claim by a former partner of the services firm alleging a violation of ERISA. The former partner initially asserted claims of retaliation and wrongful withholding of wages in addition to a violation of ERISA. After Jones Day successfully compelled arbitration in December 2010, the former partner dropped the retaliation and wrongful withholding of wages claims. The ERISA claim was tried before an arbitration panel in March 2013.
