Husky Energy successfully petitioned FERC

Jones Day successfully petitioned FERC on behalf of Husky Energy Inc. for waiver of natural gas pipeline capacity release protocols and related rules and policies, including posting and bidding requirements, FERC’s prohibition on buy-sell arrangements, and the prohibition on capacity release transactions above the filed rate, to facilitate the assignment and permanent release of several long-term firm natural gas transportation agreements together with over 150 gas purchase and sale agreements and other agreements as part of a corporate reorganization.
