OG&E purchases project development assets for Crossroads wind farm project from Renewable Energy Systems Americas Inc.

Jones Day advised Oklahoma Gas and Electric Company (OG&E) in connection with the purchase by OG&E from Renewable Energy Systems Americas Inc. ("RES Americas") of the project development assets for the 227.5 megawatt Crossroads wind farm project, the supply by Siemens to OG&E for the construction of the project of 95 2.3-MW rated wind turbine generators, and three 3-MW direct drive wind turbine generators, the first of their kind to be installed in the United States, and the supply by RES America Construction to OG&E of balance of plant engineering, procurement and construction services for the project. The estimated total cost of the project is $451 million. Completion of the purchase by OG&E of the development assets was announced by OG&E on August 9, 2010 and completion of the project was announced by OG&E on January 20, 2012.
