Jones Day advised Ixe Grupo Financiero, S.A.B. de C.V. in the MXN$16.2 billion ($1.3 billion) merger with Grupo Financiero Banorte S.A.B de C.V. This is the largest transaction in Mexico's banking sector for nearly a decade, strengthening the presence of domestic capital in the national financial system.
