Continental Automotive Systems successfully negotiates with IAMAW regarding Newport News, VA facility

Client(s) Continental Tire North America, Inc.

Jones Day represented Continental Automotive Systems U.S., Inc., an affiliate of Continental Tire N.A., Inc., in connection with successful negotiations with the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers AFL-CIO for concessionary agreements governing the company's Diesel Fuel Injection Operations and Gasoline Systems Operations in Newport News, Virginia. After the Union agreed to concessions at the Newport News facility, Jones Day advised CAS in connection with the closure of the Company's Blythewood, South Carolina facility and the transfer of its work to the Newport News facility.

Jones Day is representing CAS in connection with the closure of the Company's Huntsville, Alabama facility and related effects bargaining negotiations.
