Applied Medical Distribution obtains defense verdict in case brought by former employee asserting multiple employment claims

Applied Medical retained Jones Day to defend the company in an action brought by a former employee alleging, among other things, sex and age discrimination, sex harassment, and retaliation. After litigating the matter for the better part of a year and trying the case to a jury in Seattle, Washington, Jones Day was able to secure for Applied Medical a verdict in the company's favor on all of the former employee's claims. Applied Medical was thereafter granted a judgment in its favor that included costs and sanctions.
