Riverside acquires Sencore

Client(s) Riverside Company, The

Jones Day assisted The Riverside Company in the acquisition of Sencore, Inc. as a new platform company. Sencore is a leading manufacturer of Communications and Audio/Visual (A/V) equipment for broadcasting and processing video and audio signals. The Company’s products perform system-critical broadcast operational functions (e.g., high-definition video signal receiving and decoding) and signal quality test and measurement functions. Sencore’s Communications division provides solutions for a wide range of customers such as broadcasters, cable/satellite operators, manufacturers of broadcast hardware, video production engineers and consumer electronics retailers. Its A/V Installation & Calibration division provides audio and video test and calibration equipment to custom home theater and commercial A/V installers.
