Jones Day partner Leigh Krahenbuhl named to Crain’s Chicago Business 40 Under 40 list

Jones Day partner Leigh Krahenbuhl has been named to Crain’s Chicago Business’s 2025 “40 Under 40” list, which honors the exceptional achievements of young professionals across diverse industries and showcases dynamic leaders who are shaping their communities.

Ms. Krahenbuhl represents companies and their directors and officers in high-stakes government and internal investigations and advises on complex corporate compliance matters, crisis management, and media relations. She has led sensitive U.S. and cross-border matters involving the Department of Justice, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and other agencies, securing favorable outcomes including declinations and decisions not to pursue regulatory action.

Some of Ms. Krahenbuhl’s recent achievements include co-leading a team representing a Fortune 50 company in a joint Southern District of New York (SDNY)/EPA investigation into purported environmental law violations and helping secure a declination in an SDNY forced labor investigation.
