"FinAccelerate Empowered by Jones Day" announces 2025 launch
Participating companies to be selected based on the strength of team and innovative technology; applications now open.
Applications are now being accepted for FinAccelerate Empowered by Jones Day, an accelerator program to assist selected fintech start-up companies with legal know-how, while also connecting selectees with leading financial institutions, investors, and potential joint venture partners to accelerate their businesses. This is the fourth year of this successful program, which takes place October 21-24, 2025, in the Firm's San Francisco and Silicon Valley offices.
"FinAccelerate extends a pivotal advantage to both early-stage and mature fintech start-ups," said Abradat Kamalpour, a partner in the Financial Markets Practice who is leading the initiative. "We recognize that new companies need help navigating this dynamic industry and its regulations. Last year's cohort of 25 companies derived immense value from the advisory input of top industry leaders and direct exposure to investors made possible by this platform."
This year's program follows the Firm's recent inaugural European component of FinAccelerate, which took place in the Firm's Paris Office in June.
"A natural extension of the Firm's full-service, global Financial Markets Practice, FinAccelerate creates a singular opportunity for fintech companies to access crucial legal support, insight into market developments and trends, and guidance from seasoned mentors," added Jay Tambe, Practice Leader for the Firm's Financial Markets Practice. "We look forward to offering this launching pad to yet another round of visionary companies."
Designed to support high-quality fintech businesses, participating companies will be selected based on the strength of their team and innovative technology. There is no charge to those chosen, nor do they have to share any equity stake in order to participate.
The selected fintech companies will be awarded a place at the four-day program, followed by ongoing engagement. The program has also secured influential global thought leaders and investors as advisors. The structure of the program can be found on the FinAccelerate website.
