Jones Day's Rasha Gerges Shields named to 2025 "Women of Influence: Attorneys" by The Los Angeles Business Journal

The Los Angeles Business Journal has named partner Rasha Gerges Shields among the publication's "Women of Influence: Attorneys" for 2025. Honorees were selected based on their professional achievements, community leadership, milestones, and notable contributions to their industry.

Ms. Shields is an experienced first chair and appellate counsel defending companies and executives in high-stakes civil and criminal matters, including DOJ and State Attorneys General investigations and enforcement actions, and leads sensitive internal investigations for clients. She previously served as an Assistant United States Attorney. For two consecutive years, Ms. Shields has been recognized by Chambers USA for White-Collar Crime and Government Investigations and has been named to the Daily Journal's list of "Top Women Lawyers in California."

In addition to her client work, she is actively involved in the community, including her appointment by the Mayor of Los Angeles to the Board of Police Commissioners, and an additional appointment by the Chief Justice of the California Supreme Court to the Supreme Court and Courts of Appeal Prevention of Bias Committee.
