Bernard Zapata-Kim advises public and private companies on the employee benefits and executive compensation elements of corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, spin-offs, private equity, and leveraged buyouts. He has experience preparing employment, equity incentive, separation, and severance agreements. He also advises clients regarding the administration and compliance of employee benefit plans, programs, and arrangements with the Internal Revenue Code and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).
