Sarah Weberman focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, government and internal investigations, and regulatory enforcement actions. She has represented clients in matters involving Department of Justice (DOJ) fraud investigations and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) enforcement proceedings related to insider trading and market manipulation. Sarah also has experience defending major health care and life sciences companies in high-stakes product liability litigation and advising corporate stakeholders on a range of labor and employment issues.
Sarah previously clerked on the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, where she worked on cases involving government contracts disputes and bid protests, gaining in-depth experience with federal procurement and administrative law.
Before joining Jones Day in 2023, Sarah practiced at a large international law firm in Boston, where she counseled public and private companies on private equity-backed mergers and acquisitions, entity formation and structuring, borrower and lender-side financings, and corporate governance.
Sarah maintains an active pro bono practice. She has represented clients in guardianship and asylum proceedings, and she recently advocated before the Michigan Court of Appeals on behalf of an incarcerated individual challenging the constitutionality of his de facto life without parole sentence.
