Chris Spiers has a wide range of experience litigating health care, product liability, real estate, and antitrust matters in state and federal courts. He helps clients navigate through all aspects of litigation, including preparing pleadings, overseeing discovery, preparing witnesses for depositions and trial, taking and defending depositions, leading settlement negotiations, and arguing motions.
Chris also has extensive class action experience, including successfully defending claims brought under the United States Constitution and Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA). Recently, Chris represented a hospital system in California in a substantial antitrust matter regarding providers' contract terms, and which the Firm successfully resolved with a favorable settlement.
Chris is dedicated to maintaining an active pro bono practice. He has successfully obtained asylum for an immigrant fleeing severe abuse in Cuba. He also has experience representing indigent clients in expungement proceedings and assisting disabled veterans apply for military benefits.
Chris is a member of the Bar Association of San Francisco and the Association of Business Trial Lawyers.
