Chris Spiers's practice focuses on litigating commercial, product liability, real estate, and antitrust matters in state and federal courts. He also has extensive class action experience, including successfully defending claims brought under the United States Constitution and the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA). Chris assists clients in all stages of litigation, from initial case assessment through the ultimate resolution of the dispute. This includes corresponding with opposing counsel, drafting pleadings, document collection and review, taking and defending depositions, and preparing for trial.
Chris is dedicated to maintaining an active pro bono practice. He has experience representing indigent clients in expungement proceedings and assisting disabled veterans apply for military benefits.
Chris is a member of the Bar Association of San Francisco and the Defense Research Institute.
Sutter Health defends antitrust suits
Jones Day represents Sutter Health in two antitrust suits brought by putative classes alleging that Sutter has conspired to violate the state and federal antitrust laws with respect to Sutter's provision of health care services in Northern California.
