Brian Sullivan represents agents, arrangers, commercial lenders, and corporate sponsors and borrowers in a wide variety of domestic and international finance transactions, including banking, acquisition, leveraged, transportation, and project finance, as well as real estate lending.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2021, Brian was an associate in the finance practice in the New York City office of an international law firm. Examples of his experience during this time include the representations of: the sponsor of a more than $1 billion acquisition financing, the agent of a more than $1 billion project financing, the agent of an $800 million acquisition financing, and the airline borrower in connection with the acquisition of a fleet of aircraft.
Brian's practice includes unsecured and secured first and second lien facilities and asset-based facilities, across a broad range of industries. He advises clients on loan originations to finance acquisitions as well as restructurings and amendments to existing facilities involving financially healthy, stressed, and distressed borrowers.
