Cyril Philibert's practice is concentrated on commercial litigation and arbitration. He assists French and international clients on all issues relating to post-acquisition disputes, business torts, construction and engineering projects, industrial risks, and product liability, within the context of prelitigation, litigation and arbitration proceedings, expert proceedings, and means of enforcement.

His recent caseload has involved assisting a multinational oil and gas company before a French commercial court in connection with the enforcement of an ICC arbitral award against an African state amounting to approximately one billion euros; representing a French company before the Paris Court of Appeal in connection with a post-acquisition dispute resulting from an earn out clause; representing a major French bank before the Paris Court of Appeal in connection with the enforcement of a foreign judgment; assisting and representing a foreign company in the context of the enforcement of an arbitral award rendered against a foreign state, before French courts, and in mediation and arbitration proceedings under the ICC rules; and representing a prominent business man in an arbitration under the OHADA (Organization for the Harmonization of African Business Law) rules with respect to a contractual dispute.

Cyril has published several articles in law reviews relating to product liability, civil procedure, and class actions in France.
