Jared Lockhart represents clients in various fora, with a focus on cross-border litigation and arbitration. His experience includes briefing, motion practice, oral argument, discovery, and witness examinations.
Jared is currently representing a Canadian mining company in an investor-state arbitration against the Republic of Kazakhstan under the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) rules. He also has experience consulting international clients on matters of contract interpretation.
In addition, Jared maintains an active pro bono practice that includes representing individuals seeking asylum as well as human trafficking victims.
