Nya Hedman represents employers in a variety of labor and employment matters. Nya's experience includes conducting sensitive internal investigations of employee complaints and counseling employers on matters involving reductions in force and separation agreements. Nya also maintains an active traditional labor practice, advising employers on collective bargaining, union organizing, and unfair labor practice proceedings.
Nya has represented clients across multiple industries, including health care, finance, and transportation. In addition, she maintains an active pro bono practice, counseling asylum seekers at the Laredo, Texas detention facility and working on initiatives to help survivors of human trafficking.
