Allie Heyl advises clients on government contracting, international trade, and national security matters.

Allie counsels and represents clients in bid protests before the Government Accountability Office (GAO) and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims (COFC); Department of Justice (DOJ) investigations and False Claims Act (FCA) matters; tariff issues before Customs and Border Protection (CBP); and cross-border transactions reviewed by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS).

Allie helps clients navigate the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), understand subcontracting obligations, and comply with related rules, including federal antidiscrimination laws, the Byrd Anti-Lobbying Amendment, and the Build America, Buy America Act (BABA). Allie also assists with business transactions implicating the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctions.

  • Aludyne divests certain North American business assets to LinamarJones Day advised Aludyne, Inc. in a complex, distressed M&A transaction that required coordinated negotiations with the company’s secured lenders, key customers, and other critical stakeholders to secure forbearances and near-term liquidity during the sale process.
  • Inflexion acquires Veto Pro PacJones Day advised Inflexion Private Equity and its portfolio company Aspen Pumps Limited on the acquisition of Veto Pro Pac, LLC, a manufacturer of a premium range of tool bags and tool storage solutions.
