Wendie Gao is a business lawyer who focuses on M&A, advising domestic and international clients on private and cross-border transactions, joint ventures, and general corporate matters.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2025, Wendie completed internships at a major law firm and in the legal department of a leading technical services company that specializes in energy, infrastructure, and digital solutions, and her experience provides her with a solid foundation in structuring deals, conducting due diligence, and understanding regulatory and governance issues within the M&A landscape.
