Joshua Gold-Quirós focuses his practice on comprehensive brand protection and enforcement on a global scale.
Josh advises clients across a broad spectrum of industries — including sports and entertainment, cybersecurity, commercial real estate, fashion, food and beverage, and pharmaceuticals — on matters involving trademarks, false advertising, copyright, rights of publicity, and domain name disputes. He regularly assists clients with the selection, clearance, registration, and enforcement of trademarks both in the United States and internationally. He manages high-profile international trademark and domain name portfolios, working closely with foreign counsel in more than 100 countries to ensure robust protection and enforcement of clients' intellectual property rights worldwide. He also advises on trademark and copyright issues in license agreements and corporate transactions and has significant experience counseling clients on the use and enforcement of trademarks on the internet.
Josh represents clients in trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and domain name disputes in Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP) proceedings before the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and assists in enforcement actions in courts across the country in cases involving trademark and trade dress infringement, copyright infringement, false advertising, unfair competition, and misappropriation of trade secrets.
Josh is actively involved in the intellectual property community. He serves on the International Trademark Association's Famous and Well-Known Marks Committee and the Trademark Committee of the State Bar of Texas.
