Giorgi Gugenishvili assists French and international clients in contentious and noncontentious matters related to intellectual property (trademarks, copyright, domain names, patents), data protection, and information technology.
He supports clients in developing digital rights strategies and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations, notably the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), the Data Act, and the ePrivacy Directive. Additionally, he advises companies on artificial intelligence-related matters, in particular on compliance with the Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act), as well as on other cybersecurity-related issues, including compliance with the NIS2 Directive and the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA).
His practice also includes advising multinational corporations and technology innovators on cross-border IP enforcement, including trademark and copyright infringement actions, as well as trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings.
Giorgi is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and APRAM (Association des Praticiens du Droit des Marques et des Modèles [French Association of Trademark and Design Law Practitioners]).
