Samantha Dyar has represented employers in California single-plaintiff and class actions matters, dealing with wage and hour, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wrongful termination claims. She also has experience representing employers against wage claims before the California Labor Commissioner and in drafting pleadings and conducting fact investigations.

In addition to her litigation practice, Samantha has counseled employers on their policies and practices to help them navigate California's employment laws, specifically relating to taking adverse action and implementing arbitration agreements.

Samantha maintains an active pro bono practice, representing survivors of human trafficking as they seek vacatur relief of their criminal records and asylum applicants seeking refuge in the United States.

Prior to joining Jones Day, Samantha worked as a legal research assistant at USC law school where she conducted research on a wide range of current legal issues. She additionally externed for Judge Maureen A. Tighe at the Central District of California Bankruptcy Court.
