Marta de Cara has more than a decade of experience advising corporations and financial institutions on a wide range of arbitration and litigation matters pertaining to civil, corporate, and insolvency law (directors' liability, indemnities, and breach of contracts).

Marta has worked on criminal proceedings before the Spanish investigation courts relating to intellectual property rights and white collar crimes; on NPL (nonperforming loan) portfolios covering the sale and purchase process, analyzing borrowers' positions, and strategy design and implementation; and on international arbitration proceedings, including international investment arbitration before the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), commercial arbitration, and ad hoc arbitration proceedings involving the construction, transport, and oil and gas industries.

Marta is a member of the Bar Association of Madrid, the Spanish and Ibero-American Arbitration Club (CEIA), and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CiArb).
