Dr. Christopher Dorsett joined our New Lawyers Group (NLG) in 2023. The NLG provides our newest lawyers with the opportunity to gain exposure to different practice areas and lawyering styles before making a commitment to a specific practice. Individuals in the NLG may focus on a particular area of practice, or compare practices, during their first year with Jones Day.
Christopher holds a Ph.D. in neuroscience from the University of North Carolina and a M.S. in biology from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. Prior to joining Jones Day, Christopher's doctoral work focused on the neural mechanisms underlying visual perception while his master's work involved abnormal neurotransmission following traumatic brain injury.
Christopher has coauthored several peer-reviewed publications and presented at international research conferences.
