Chris Dinkel focuses his practice on complex litigation, motions practice, and administrative law and has experience at every level of the federal and state court systems, including the United States Supreme Court. Chris helps clients craft cutting-edge strategies for addressing a variety of legal issues related to federal and state regulations, changing statutory schemes, and evolving markets. He also maintains an active pro bono practice, particularly in the fields of immigration and criminal law.
Chris has experience in a variety of substantive areas of law, including labor law, energy regulation, and financial regulation. Chris is part of the Jones Day team developing strategies to help financial institutions navigate the termination of LIBOR and the team advising clients interested in ESG (environmental, social, and governance) issues.
Prior to attending law school, Chris served as the marketing coordinator for a comprehensive community mental health center doing government liaison and public relations work at the state, county, and local levels. He also held elective office as a city commissioner in his home town of Hays, Kansas.
