Julia Camp joined our New Lawyers Group (NLG) in 2021. The NLG provides our newest lawyers with the opportunity to gain exposure to different practice areas and lawyering styles before making a commitment to a specific practice. Individuals in the NLG may focus on a particular area of practice, or compare practices, during their first year with Jones Day.
Prior to attending law school, Julia taught creative writing at Johns Hopkins' Center for Talented Youth program in Los Angeles and Hong Kong. Her nonfiction writing has appeared twice in The New York Times, and she has published a fiction novel titled Indivisible. Julia also played collegiate soccer for Trinity University where she was both an All-American and an Academic All-American.
