Larissa Brentrup joined our New Lawyers Group (NLG) in 2025. The NLG provides our newest lawyers with the opportunity to gain exposure to different practice areas and lawyering styles before making a commitment to a specific practice. Individuals in the NLG may focus on a particular area of practice, or compare practices, during their first year with Jones Day. Larissa will focus on intellectual property (IP) law, specifically in the areas of trademark, unfair competition, and copyright law.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Larissa gained extensive practical experience during her legal traineeships. She worked as a research associate in the Firm's Munich Office for more than two years, completed rotations at an international law firm, and in the legal department of a listed industrial group. During this time she gained in-depth experience in IP, internal investigations, white collar crime, and construction law.
