Nicolás Aragonés is experienced in advising leading investment banks and financial services firms globally on complex and innovative structured debt products.
Nicolás has worked in a variety of international and cross-border transactions, debt issues, securitizations, and structured finance transactions across diverse asset classes. This includes on-balance sheet structured note issuances and programmes, as well as off-balance sheet SPV (special purpose vehicle) secured note programmes and repackaging transactions.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2025, Nicolás worked as a capital markets associate at a leading London law firm and completed a secondment as in-house lawyer for one of the leading banks in Spain.
