Jones Day successfully resolved a complex wage and hour class and PAGA action filed against an international technology company on an individual basis, which sought reimbursement of business expenses incurred while working from home during the COVID-19 pandemic. Jones Day strategically litigated the matter by removing the action to federal court, filing a motion to dismiss on novel grounds, and opposing Plaintiff's motion to remand. Based on this approach, Jones Day was able to resolve the matter on an individual basis and on terms favorable to our client.
