The Flemish Community issues €2 billion bonds

Jones Day assisted the Flemish Community, a federated entity of the Kingdom of Belgium, in connection with the issuance of (i) €1 billion 0.125 % Fixed Rate Notes due October 15, 2035 (15-year) and (ii) €1 billion 1.0 % Fixed Rate Notes due January 23, 2051 (to be consolidated and form a single Series with the existing €1 billion 1.0 % Fixed Rate Notes due January 23, 2051 issued on June 23, 2020) (long 30-year), both under its €25 billion Euro Medium Term Note Programme. The bonds will be listed on Euronext Brussels as from October 15, 2020.
