Jones Day advised Alcoa Corporation in the sale to SLR Property I, LP, for $240 million, of Sandow Lakes Ranch, the 31,000-acre site of the former Rockdale, Texas, aluminum smelter, which closed permanently in 2017 and was redeveloped into improved pasture, agricultural property, and industrial assets.
