Celgene secures nonsuit in Texas pain pump litigation

Client(s) Celgene Corporation

Jones Day defended Celgene Corporation in a personal injury product liability action brought against pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers. The plaintiff alleged he developed chondrolysis of his shoulder following the insertion of a pain pump and administration of marcaine. Following discovery admissions, Jones Day secured a nonsuit on behalf of Celgene.
