InnoLux obtains antitrust clearance for three-way merger with Chi Mei and TPO

Jones Day represented InnoLux Display Corp. in obtaining clearance under the antitrust and competition laws in the United States and the European Union for its three-way merger with Chi Mei Optoelectronics Corp. and TPO Displays Corp. The transaction was the largest technology-related transaction in Taiwan's history and created the largest flat panel manufacturer in Taiwan and third-largest in the world. The transaction was cleared without issuance of a second request in the United States or opening of a Phase II investigation in the EU.
