Standard Insurance successfully dismisses ERISA class action

Client(s) Standard Insurance Company

Jones Day obtained dismissal of an ERISA class action brought against Standard Insurance Company in the District of Utah. The Court granted Standard's motion to dismiss without leave to amend because she agreed that the unambiguous language of the ERISA plan precluded recovery.
