Carol Li represents and counsels financial institutions and other companies in a variety of complex commercial litigation matters, arbitration proceedings, and investigations.
Carol has experience representing financial institutions and corporate clients in breach of contract disputes, antitrust litigation, and claims arising under the False Claims Act (FCA). As part of her practice, Carol also represents private equity firms in post-closing disputes involving breach of contract claims. She has diverse litigation experience, including briefing and motions practice in state and federal courts, e-discovery, fact investigation, offensive and defensive discovery, and witness preparation. Carol also assists in internal and government investigations related to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues and corporate misconduct.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Carol served as a law clerk for Judge Kenneth F. Ripple on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
