Michael Grund represents private equity funds and private companies in mergers, acquisitions, divestures, carve-out transactions, cross-border transactions, corporate restructurings, and other complex business transactions. Michael also advises private equity funds' portfolio companies and private companies on corporate governance, general business law, and commercial matters. He has experience representing clients in the technology, consumer goods, health care, chemical, and manufacturing industries.
Private equity clients and their portfolio companies Michael has represented include American Pacific Group, Crestline Investors, High Road Capital Partners, Morgan Stanley Private Equity, Rockwood Equity Partners, and The Riverside Company.
Michael is a member of the American Bar Association (Business Law Section), Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, and the Association for Corporate Growth (Cleveland Chapter). He also regularly provides pro bono legal services at legal aid clinics. Michael previously served as a legal fellow at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.
