Adnene Gargouri advises on complex energy and infrastructure projects across the Middle East, North Africa, Africa, Europe, and Asia, with particular experience in cross-border project development and M&A.
Adnene represents sponsors, lenders, governments, and corporates on the development, financing, acquisition, and M&A of large-scale projects spanning the oil and gas, renewable energy, and mining sectors. His practice includes advising on solar PV (photovoltaic technology), power generation, and related commercial arrangements such as EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) contracts, PPAs (power purchase agreements), and government support packages. Adnene's experience extends across the Middle East, North Africa, both Anglophone and Francophone Africa, and other emerging markets.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2025, Adnene practiced in the New York offices of two U.S. law firms and trained in the Paris offices of international firms.
