American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009: Energy-Related Appropriations (updated June 1, 2009)

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 ("the ARRA" or "the Act") was signed into law over three months ago, on February 17, 2009. Since then, the federal agencies charged with administering energy-related and other appropriations in the Act have been developing program guidelines and rules, issuing announcements about funding opportunities, and providing weekly status reports on their implementation efforts. The attorneys at Jones Day have developed a matrix, organized by government department or agency, that is intended to track these implementation efforts and help members of the energy industry answer the question: How can I access ARRA funds? The matrix provides implementation information through June 1, 2009, and will be updated periodically to reflect the latest energy-related ARRA news.
