Stephanie Parker Named to Forbes' "America's Top Lawyers"

Forbes has recognized Jones Day partner Stephanie Parker as one of "America's Top Lawyers" for 2026. The annual compilation identifies elite lawyers across practice areas based on the caliber of their work, the trust they engender, and the results they deliver for clients.

A nationally renowned litigator, Ms. Parker has tried "bet the company" cases across the United States for three decades. Recognized by Chambers USA as "an eminent trial lawyer in tobacco and in pharmaceutical trials" and ranked Band 1 nationwide in product liability, she is the go-to counsel for some of the nation's most consequential product liability, mass tort, and patent disputes.

For more than 20 years she has led the nationwide defense of a major tobacco company's smoking-and-health litigation and remains the client's key advisor on strategies and litigation involving federal and state regulatory matters and patent cases. In May 2025, Ms. Parker represented a multinational pharmaceutical company as lead trial lawyer in the first-ever civil jury trial involving an alleged vaccine-related injury after the creation of the 1986 National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program. The proceedings concluded with the plaintiff requesting an adjournment with no award paid.

Elected to The American Law Institute in 2004, she serves as an active member of the Institute's Council, where she is deeply involved in modernizing and improving mass tort law through her work on the Restatement of Torts.

Ms. Parker is a former Chair of the Board of Directors of the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta and a former board member of Georgia Women of Achievement, Wesleyan College, and Vanderbilt University School of Law.
