Jake Morse's practice focuses on cybersecurity, data privacy, and complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts. He advises clients on all aspects of U.S. and international data breach investigation and response, including breach preparedness, forensic investigations, notification, and other legal obligations. Jake also defends clients against related litigation and investigations by regulators and state attorneys general.
Jake has experience representing clients in complex litigation across a variety of commercial sectors, including financial services, pharmaceuticals, consumer credit, and health care. He has experience with fact investigation, managing large-scale document reviews, deposition preparation, and drafting evidentiary and dispositive motions.
Jake maintains an active pro bono practice. He represents clients from Central American countries seeking asylum in the United States, and he also participates in the Firm's Constitutional Policing and Civil Justice Reform Initiative.
