Andrew McGirty joined our New Lawyers Group (NLG) in 2025. The NLG provides our newest lawyers with the opportunity to gain exposure to different practice areas and lawyering styles before making a commitment to a specific practice. Individuals in the NLG may focus on a particular area of practice, or compare practices, during their first year with Jones Day. Andrew will be focusing on corporate and regulatory work while supporting the Health Care & Life Sciences Practice.
While in law school, Andrew worked as an extern in the legal departments of several nationally ranked hospitals, and his work, "Cracking Causation: The Need for a Workable Link Between the Anti-Kickback Statute and False Claims Act," was published in the Case Western Reserve Law Review in the Spring of 2025.
