Bo Huang helps financial institutions, funds, companies, and entrepreneurs in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Asia navigate complex cross-border investigations and disputes.
Bo has represented investment banks, investment funds, listed companies, and commercial banks in significant matters before the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), and The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (SEHK). His experience includes SFC investigations concerning IPOs, market manipulation, insider dealing, and conduct issues; HKMA investigations involving commercial and virtual banks; and SEHK matters concerning listing suspensions. His U.S. regulatory experience includes assisting U.S.-listed, China-based companies and their executives in U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) investigations concerning reporting delinquencies and potential insider trading issues. He has also advised investment funds and multinational companies on matters involving the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), including investigations by the SEC and the Department of Justice (DOJ).
In contentious matters, Bo has represented financial institutions, private equity funds, and entrepreneurs in high-stakes corporate disputes, including multiple arbitrations concerning investment products, financing arrangements, management disputes, and corporate governance.
