Rachel Gherke represents clients in complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts. She has experience in multidistrict litigation and class actions, including matters involving the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, toxic torts, antitrust law, state deceptive trade practices acts, business torts, aerospace disputes, and contract claims.
Rachel focuses her practice on high-stakes litigation in federal and state courts across a variety of industries. She has represented pharmaceutical manufacturers in antitrust and consumer protection lawsuits brought by state attorneys general and private plaintiffs. She also has experience representing clients in business disputes seeking expedited relief, including temporary restraining orders and preliminary injunctions, as well as drafting dispositive motions. In addition, she has engaged in pro bono representations, including for a plaintiff asserting constitutional civil rights claims under 42 U.S.C. § 1983.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2025, Rachel served as a law clerk to Judge Michael H. Watson of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
