Nick Braamburg is a corporate lawyer whose practice centers on private equity and cross-border M&A. He advises private equity firms, financial investors, and corporates on the full transaction life cycle — from acquisitions and divestitures to management and leveraged buyouts, joint ventures, venture capital investments, and real estate transactions.

Nick brings particular depth to technology M&A and transactions in the manufacturing, chemicals, life sciences, and consumer goods industries. He also has significant experience advising on direct and indirect real estate transactions.

Recent transactions include advising: Fortino Capital on the auction sale of asset integrity management platform Cenosco to Summit Partners; Gimv in the acquisition of a majority stake in Alpine from Vendis Capital; The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company in the sale of Gavita International B.V. via a management buyout; and A-Insights in its strategic merger with Valona Intelligence.

Prior to joining Jones Day in 2024, Nick practiced at another top-tier international law firm.
