Larissa Brentrup joined our New Lawyers Group (NLG) in 2025. The NLG provides our newest lawyers with the opportunity to gain exposure to different practice areas and lawyering styles before making a commitment to a specific practice. Individuals in the NLG may focus on a particular area of practice, or compare practices, during their first year with Jones Day. Larissa will focus on intellectual property (IP) law, specifically in the areas of trademark, design, unfair competition, and copyright law.
Before passing her second state exam, Larissa served as a legal trainee, research associate, and intern. During this time, she gained practical experience in IP, compliance, and real estate law at two large international law firms and at a listed industrial group that specializes in steel processing.
