Justin Rattey represents clients in complex civil litigation matters, including mass torts, multidistrict ligation, and Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA) litigation. He has experience with many aspects of litigation, including offensive and defensive discovery, fact investigation, drafting briefs and motions, managing expert witnesses, and legal research.

Justin also maintains an active pro bono practice, including representing clients seeking asylum.

Prior to joining Jones Day, Justin served as a judicial law clerk to Judge John F. Kness on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. While in law school, Justin worked as a research assistant to Dean William M. Treanor and Professor Carlos M. Vázquez and assisted clients in the Civil Litigation Clinic.
