Walter Mostowy leverages his background in artificial intelligence, computer science, and software to bring clients favorable resolutions to complex and high-stakes intellectual property matters. Focusing his practice primarily on patent infringement and trade secret misappropriation actions, Walter has experience in all phases of litigation through trial and has represented several multinational companies in high-stakes disputes involving various technologies, including artificial intelligence, cloud, databases, distributed computing, financial software, mobile applications, and streaming.

Walter also has experience in international arbitration and privacy and cybersecurity counseling, and he maintains an active pro bono practice representing clients seeking asylum and record clearance.

During law school, Walter authored a student note on artificial intelligence and the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), published in the Berkeley Technology Law Journal. Walter also coauthored with several classmates an article on internet law and policy that won a student prize award at TPRC49 (49th Research Conference on Communications, Information, and Internet Policy), published in the California Law Review.

Prior to law school, Walter worked as a software engineer at Google.
